This is a good video on explaining what Trinity means:

I was listening to this video from "Sergio and Rhoda in Israel" when they mentioned that Mount Arbel was possibly a mountain Jesus would climb to go pray. And, I like how this blog mentions He may have chosen the spot because it is isolated away from distractions between He and His Father.

I really like something Sergio said in the video -- that it is neat to look at the photo and think about Jesus praying there..."for us." That really struck me. Not only is Jesus the intercessor for us right now, but He's always been there "for us." Even 2000 years ago, He was thinking of and praying for you and for me! Even back then, Emmanuel (God with us) knew each of us by name. We were on His mind. From the beginning of time, we've each been on His mind. As a collective of His children, we are in His heart.

"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" -- Romans 8:31 (ESV)

"Sergio and Rhoda in Israel" is one of my favorite channels for learning about the archeology and geography of the Bible, and this is one of my favorite videos of theirs.

They visited the valley where there was the showdown between David and Goliath. They checked out the scene, acoustics, using homemade slings, where David might have gotten his ammo, etc. This couple are delightful, Godly characters who are knowledgeable about the Bible.

A Christian friend suggested we watch a movie called, "Nefarious." It was actually very good and more of a Christian "thriller" or "thought-provoker" than it is "horror." Granted, I looked away at the lethal punishment scene, but the movie was surprisingly good. A small group of us have been chatting about angels and demons, so I thought I'd share a video I've been watching from one of the Christian apologists I like.

I learned of Christian homicide detective, J. Warner Wallace, via another apologist I trust. I have one of Wallace's books and the movie based on it is coming this week sometime -- "Cold-Case Christianity." It's where he "applies ten common rules of evidence to make the case for Christianity." I haven't read the book yet, but it's my understanding that he was an unbeliever trying to analyze Christianity with his detective skills and ended up proving it to himself as true!

Here's a good one from his "Think Like a Detective" Playlist:

The whole playlist gives you a good taste of his thinking style, of which I'm fond.

Regarding the "Nefarious" movie, I hesitate a bit on recommending books/shows to friends now, for I'd done that with "The Chosen" and I see how it is working strongly enough in creating imagery and a storyline for people that it's informing them more than the Bible seems to be. But, I trust you read the Bible. May Holy Spirit give us all discernment.
